The China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, was founded in the spring of 1957 and is held in Guangzhou every spring and autumn. The Canton Fair is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, and hosted by the China Foreign Trade Center. It is currently the longest and largest comprehensive international trade event in China, with the most complete range of goods, the largest and widest source of buyers, the best transaction results, and the best reputation. It is known as China’s first exhibition and a barometer and vane of China’s foreign trade.
As the window, epitome and symbol of China’s opening up and an important platform for international trade cooperation, Canton Fair has withstood various challenges and never been interrupted in the past 65 years. It has been successfully held for 133 sessions and established trade relations with more than 229 countries and regions around the world. The accumulated export volume has amounted to about USD 1.5 trillion and the total number of overseas buyers attending the Canton Fair onsite and online has exceeded 10 million. The Fair has effectively promoted trade connections and friendly exchanges between China and the world.
In the golden autumn, along the the Pearl River, thousands of merchants gathered. Under the leadership of the Bureau of Commerce of Yongnian District, the Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Yongnian District organized enterprise members to participate in the 134th Canton Fair, and successfully hosted the trade fair activity of “Guangzhou makes overseas contacts, and Yongnian enterprises go together”, so as to speed up Yang Fan’s going to sea with the east wind of “China’s first exhibition”.
As a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Wanbo Fasteners Co., Ltd. in Yongnian District, Handan City actively participates in authentic exhibitions and trade negotiations. The authentic Canton Fair is very popular, with a continuous stream of foreign businessmen coming to negotiate and many potential cooperative customers.
